The SiteSage gateway communicates via MiWi with up to 10 SiteSage devices, provided they are within 30 feet of the gateway. The communication can pass through walls and floors, but the construction material decreases the range. The gateway uses the building's network to send monitoring and control information to the cloud. The gateway is Level 1 PCI compliant and has inputs for 1-Wire and pulse.
This gateway connects to the building's network via ethernet. A wireless connection to the network is not an option at this time.
